Pokémon X & Y's Worst New Feature Is Also One of Its Funniest

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jyl5wxoKDqw Some things are so bad they’re good—and the ability to make promotional videos of yourself and your Pokemon in X & Y definitely fits that bill. Basically, the way Trainer PR videos work is, players can visit a “PR Video Studio” in Lumiose City, a location in X & Y. From there, players can choose to make 10 second long videos of themselves using pre-built sounds and backgrounds. The idea is that the videos are an opportunity for players to express their style (or something like that). Thing is, the options you have while editing are kind of…well, they’re kind of crappy. The optional effects, for example, look like something straight pg123 out of Blingee, almost—you can use lots of of sparkles, hearts, stars, bloom, that sort of thing. Heck, you can do odd stuff like make your avatar cry, too. It’s kind of bizarre, and reminds me a lot of what the No Scope 420 Headshot montages do for shooters. Ah, but here’s the thing. People have been using the Trainer PR feature to make all sorts of hilarious shorts, effectively embracing the awfulness of the feature. Like the first video in this post, for example? It’s by Mulchy, and it uses the looping dance animation from the trainer PR videos to riff off the Carlton Dance from the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. It’s kind of perfect. (If you’re curious…there’s a twerk version.) Here are a few more awesome PR videos. Don’t Drop That pg123 (Dun Dun Dun) .The Pokemon in the video is called Dedenne. Video by Fuzzlekins Unrequited Goomy Love. Oh no! These videos can get pretty freakin’ dramatic. Video by Samuel Perez ESPURR NOOOO The creepiest Pokemon with the biggest eyes deserves a horrifying PR. Video by sassybatterie Like Tears In The Rain Pokemon can get emotional, man. I love the overall aesthetic of the platform. The animations, visual effects, and sound design make the gaming experience more dynamic and immersive. It's one of the reasons I keep coming back. The promotions and bonuses offered are very generous. I especially love the daily free spins and deposit bonuses. They make playing even more enjoyable and increase my chances of winning big. The platform keeps me engaged for hours every day. The payout process is generally smooth and reliable, though occasionally it takes longer than expected. Overall, I feel confident that my winnings are safe and will be credited properly.

The variety of games is excellent, including table games like blackjack, roulette, and baccarat, in addition to slots. This keeps the platform interesting and allows me to switch games depending on my mood. I appreciate the themed slot games, especially those based on movies and TV shows. They make the gaming experience more engaging and immersive. The combination of storyline, visuals, and bonus features makes each game feel unique. The mobile interface is smooth and intuitive. I can play all my favorite slots on the go without experiencing any lag or glitches. The design is responsive and user-friendly, which makes gaming on my phone just as enjoyable as on my computer.

I appreciate the themed slot games, especially those based on movies and TV shows. They make the gaming experience more engaging and immersive. The combination of storyline, visuals, and bonus features makes each game feel unique. Sometimes I wish there were more ways to earn rewards through loyalty programs or frequent player bonuses. Adding seasonal events or special challenges could enhance the excitement even further.
